Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Do you have big plans tonight? I hope so...and I hope it's the BEST yet!
The Hubby and I have a tradition to make a homemade fancy dinner together on Valentine's. I mean, a really fancy dinner with menus I sometimes can't pronounce! One year we made one of the Top Chef winning meals! It was so awesome. This year I don't know the menu. Yay...it's a surprise. I love surprises!
Speaking of...I have a surprise wedding film for you today from Dyle Films. Farris and Matt were married at LSU Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge. And I just love their film! From Farris's Click Here to Read More

Teryn and Matt's wedding, held at The Mill at Fine Creek and photographed by Rebekah Hoyt Photography, was beautiful from start to finish. From the venue itself to the gorgeous floral arrangements, to the hundreds of thrifted glass bottles carefully placed on each table, Teryn put a lot of love into making their wedding day as beautiful as she could. And it definitely showed!
In addition to the wedding details, Teryn provided handmade necklaces to each of the bridesmaids, a monogramed tie clip was given to her husband-to-be, and even details like her garter and the flower girl's headband
Danielle and Ryan met through an online dating site. How neat is that? Love always finds it's way, right? Lucky for Danielle and Ryan it did for them as the two could not be more compatible!
Their wedding was beautiful, genuine and full of whimsical fun. It was held in the forest on a hot summer day, the perfect place to take a break from the heat of the mid day sun. And while the guests enjoyed the shade of the trees as they exchanged their marriage vows, Danielle and Ryan surprised them all with four rose petal canons that went off just as they were announced husband and wife. And what
I'm so happy to share today's beautiful Yosemite wedding photographed by Patrick Pike Studios. Lauren and Jason planned a destination wedding at Evergreen Lodge in the popular mountain area. With talented designers and planners, they mixed together the gorgeousness of the natural world with fine details to create the wedding of their dreams. And I'm in love with everything they chose! Lauren's Atelier des Modistes gown is simply stunning and the green tinted Mason Jars and succulent filled floral arrangements are both unique and breathtaking. And to top it all off, the festive lanterns strung
Brides out there looking for inspiration...this is how you do an elegant Southern outdoor wedding. In case you missed part 1 of this gorgeous wedding, click here to go see it!
Now...are you ready for part 2? Okay then...first I must mention all the lovely details of Brooke and Brent's gorgeous day were planned and brought to reality by event designer Ellen Robinson of WED. And what an amazing job she did! Next, we wouldn't be able to admire all of this pretty if it weren't for Shannon from Riverland Studios. So, thank you Shannon for such a gorgeous job!
Our lovely bride and groom Brooke
Today's wedding is so beautiful...I had to break it into two parts! Part one of Brooke & Brent's Cypress Trees Plantation wedding is filled with all the lovely soft pink, cream and gray details that made up the gorgeous surroundings of their day. Some of my all time favorite flowers are used...white hydrangeas, soft pink dahlias, peonies and roses. And, if you're looking for detail inspiration, you've come to the right place. From the bride and groom chair signs to the hanging mason jar lights, the "Don't Take My Drink, I'm Dancing" cards to the beautiful long gray bridesmaids dress, every
Today's wedding comes to us from Boscobel, an amazing colonial estate and gardens venue in Garrison, New York. Seriously, there are so many beautiful things about this property I don't even know where to begin. Except to say, if you are looking for a venue in New York and have the means, you must put this place on your short list. It's beautiful! And photographer Kim Coccagnia of Photography by Kimberly Coccagnia did a lovely job of capturing Jessica and Andrew and their big day. I just LOVE the silly, sweet and laughing looks they share in so many images. And OH-MY, I have to mention Jessica's
Happy Monday Friends! It's Columbus Day here in the States which means it's a holiday for some. Do you have the day off?
Unfortunately it's not one of those holidays where everyone is lucky enough to enjoy an extra day to do whatever their hearts desire, including yours truly. But I have to admit I love my work...so its fine by me. Sorry...but on the bright side, that means I'm always striving to bring you the best content possible :-)
So..whether you have the day off or not, I have a pretty and colorful wedding from Long Beach, California. Photographed by True Bliss Photography, Mia and
Photographed by Evin Photography, Jessi & Chris were married at Riverwood Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee. The purple and pink accent flowers Jessi chose were a great compliment to the green shutters of the plantation. And so many details were woven throughout their wedding from the bride’s gorgeous hot pink shoes, to her Vera Wang gown, to the seed packet place cards, a window pane with relatives wedding photos, fans doubling as programs and Jessi’s mother and father's cake topper used for their wedding cake. How neat is that? I love it when heirlooms are used in weddings!
Photographer:
Who says you have to wear white on your wedding day. How about a lovely blush pink gown topped off with a black satin belt and fabric flower detail like today's bride Megan wore? It really is such a pretty option.
Photographed by Under Grace Photo, Megan and Todd were married at Saint Louis, Missouri's City Cottage surrounded by lots of candles and the cozy warmth of vintage wares, wood floors, brick walls and pretty chandeliers. With a unique venue and pretty details, this intimate wedding was everything Megan and Todd hoped it would be.

Paige and John are from Chicago and have family all over the country, so they opted for a southern destination wedding in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Blackberry Farm is set in one of the most beautiful parts of the Smoky Mountains with a fully functioning farm and 5 star dining establishment with a philosophy dedicated to sustainable farming and farm to table cuisine.
As for the wedding, Paige and John's amazing ceremony took place on the lawn of the main house which overlooks the mountains. The reception took place at Blackberry's beautiful barn dining facility and the details that
Happy Monday everyone! I'm pretty much working on zero sleep at the moment as we didn't get home until nearly 1:00 am this morning after yesterday's "Love Is an Adventure Workshop". But it was all worth it as the workshop and shoot was a complete success! I'm so happy to have met so many wonderful new people and I am honored to have had the opportunity to share with the attendees the 'Ins and Outs' of getting published. If by chance you missed this workshop, you are in luck as there will be another one in September with a different theme! Once I have the details I will announce them here so you
The editing and layout of today's featured wedding is a little out of the norm for me. Why? Well, because I typically don't post so many shots of the bridal party and it's unusual for me to use almost every single image that was submitted. But today's wedding photographed and submitted by Rose Street Studio caused me to break all the rules because I love each and every one of these images that much. I mean, how could you not post all these bridal party images? I mean...look at how much fun they're having!
Bride and groom Jackie and Rich originally met in high school, but didn't begin dating
