Have you've had a chance to see the table design I created for The Experience 2013 featured in today's previous post? If you haven't, be sure to go check it out here.
Now, it's time to share with you our lovely desert engagement session. Brett & Ryan, our engagement couple are actually married. They just posed as an engaged couple to help us complete our shoot. They also work in the wedding biz running a Photo Booth company out of Las Vegas called Fotobomb . These two were so much fun! And we are beyond thankful for the time they took out of their schedules to help us make this shoot happen. Click Here to Read More

THE EXPERIENCE 2013

To give you a little background, The Experience 2013 was a workshop we designed to help show photographers "How To Get Published" or get published more. I was thrilled to team up with this amazing group of people including bloggers, Lauren from Every Last Detail, Megan from Glamour & Grace and Christie from
Green weddings are becoming more and more popular as eco-conscious couples are looking to curtail the footprint they create within their own wedding.
If you happen to be such a couple...today you are in luck! This playful, eco-chic inspiration shoot has all the makings of the loveliest of lovely green weddings. Put together by creative event planner Lauren Mace of Eutopia Events and photographed by talented photographer Michelle Girard Photography, and assisted by a fabulous team of amazing wedding professionals, they all created this stylish and green wedding inspiration that you can use
I LOVE history. I think if I weren't a professional wedding blogger, I'd be a history professor. Yes, I love it that much!
So when a submission comes along like today's inspiration shoot from Krystal Mann | Photographer, mixing my love of weddings with history, it's like match made in my heaven.
Did you know Andrew Jackson was not only a great president, he was also a dedicated husband and quite the romantic? He was! In fact, he built a beautiful one-acre garden for his wife Rachel, where they would walk and talk together at seven o’clock every night. When Rachel passed, Andrew continued
If it's possible to be in love with a wedding, I'd have to say I'm in LOVE with this one!
Yes, I know we're a few weeks into spring and it's time to start sharing weddings with sunny days, bright colors, and warm weather details. But for those planning your dream "winter wonderland" wedding next season, here's a gorgeous one to emulate.
Photographed by Gemini Photography Ontario, on February 2nd, Laura and Craig gathered with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their picture-perfect wedding day at Queen's Landing in Niagara on the Lake. Avid snowboarders, Laura and Craig planned a February
Today's bride and groom, have to be one of the cutest couples I've featured here on FYB. From their choice in venue to the vintage wares they used as props throughout the historic property to the sweet and adoringly way they looked at one another, Mallory and Jacob had a dream wedding and have a match made in heaven. Photographed by the fabulous Kristina Lynn Photography & Design and Event Planning by Once In A Lifetime Weddings + Events, here are a few words from the bride herself.
FROM THE BRIDE:
"For our venue, we decided on Ushers Ferry Historic Village here in Cedar Rapids. Ushers
Tina & Cameron were married at Holman Ranch, a historic estate tucked away in the rolling hills of Carmel Valley. With its charming gardens, stunning mountain views and old world charm, photographer Carrie Richards of Carrie Richards Photography did an amazing job of capturing not only the beauty of the venue and it's surroundings, but also the ecstatic glow of the happy couple, their wedding party and all their guests. From Tina's purple cowboy boots and gorgeous Monique Lhuiller gown to Cameron's dashing Rat Pack styled suit and the venue's fabulous outdoor dinning, this was one classic California
Don't you just love a country, shabby-chic styled wedding? It's definitely a favorite style of mine. Mia and Shawn hit the nail on the head with theirs in hues of soft blue and cream photographed by Style Life Photography. Their ceremony was held at the beautiful United Church of Granville and the reception followed at The Granville Inn just down the street.
Mia hand crafted many of the details herself, with help from Shawn of course! The most beautiful of which were all the flowers. Mia worked with a local florist who offered a package price for the flowers as well as coaching classes to
Today's bride and groom planned a romantic and intimate day with lots of glamorous style brought to reality by Katie Slauch-Boozer and Melissa Martin from Stylish Occasions Wedding & Event Planning. With rich purples, reds, and blues used in the bridal party attire and floral arrangements, as well as ceremony and reception decor, a wonderful sense of drama was created. Photographed by Style Life Photography, Rose and Matt's beautiful wedding was elegant, welcoming, and friendly. Combined with the presence of great friends and family, their special day was everything the happy couple hoped it
Timing is everything. However, in Caitlyn & Brett's case, perfect timing turned into something unexpected and untimely.
While on a weekend leave during an away call of duty, F-16 Air Force pilot Brett planned a romantic weekend getaway for him and his girlfriend Caitlyn where he proposed to her. Of course she said yes, but their blissful engagement was cut short as Brett was immediately called away for a year deployment in the Middle East.
With lots of help from her loving family, Caitlyn did a beautiful job planning while Bret was away. Mixing old with new, she wanted their wedding
Jack and Joanne met when Joanne had almost given up on love. They met through an online dating service and they are a perfect match. Their love of the outdoors made them decide on Sedona and the Poco Diablo Resort as a perfect location for their destination wedding. And what a great choice! I am in complete awe of these amazing red rocks, aren't they absolutely beautiful? And look at how gorgeous and happy Joanne looks. Just the way a bride should be on her wedding day.

Danielle and Ryan met through an online dating site. How neat is that? Love always finds it's way, right? Lucky for Danielle and Ryan it did for them as the two could not be more compatible!
Their wedding was beautiful, genuine and full of whimsical fun. It was held in the forest on a hot summer day, the perfect place to take a break from the heat of the mid day sun. And while the guests enjoyed the shade of the trees as they exchanged their marriage vows, Danielle and Ryan surprised them all with four rose petal canons that went off just as they were announced husband and wife. And what
Whew...that's a long title, but there's so much to this pretty wedding it was hard to narrow down any one thing to grab your attention. But I did it, you are here! And now that you are, let me show you how cute this adorable couple is and what a fabulous wedding they had through the lens of Chelsea Elizabeth Photography. PS...the flower girl has to be one of the cutest I've seen and I've seen A LOT! Anyhow...without further interruption, I am pleased to present the wedding of Nicole and Jon at Spanish Hills Country Club.
