Today's beautiful bride Jenny and handsome groom Russ are from the San Francisco Bay area. But they wanted a "natural, vintage" wedding, as Jenny playfully coined it, so they opted to hold their wedding in the mountains at Yosemite's 1920s built Wawona Hotel.
The flowers they chose were a mix of very earthy, natural colors, with white, ivory, muted greens and yellows, as well as a mix of succulents. Photographed by Rachel McNamara Photography, Jenny and Russ wanted to make sure their wedding reflected both of them and their likes, so in addition to Jenny's decor ideas, since Russ is a big Click Here to Read More

This adorable gray and yellow wedding was full of personal touches, including several handmade pieces and on trend chevron accents. Jade and Preston made the large gray and yellow paper flowers that decorated much of the ceremony and reception, and don't you just love the men's gray and yellow argyle socks and yellow ties? I think they're pretty much perfect.
Photographed by Two Birds Photography and held at the The Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park, Illinois, this sweet and lively wedding is definitely one to take away some inspiration.

Sam and Stephen met in Biology class in college. At first Sam was not interested in a romance, as she found herself studying more than she ever had before. But eventually, she realized that she had fallen for Stephen and they were married five years later on the anniversary of their first official date. How sweet is that?
They chose yellow and grey as the theme colors for their Spring wedding. The guys wore grey argyle socks with grey Vans and the girls carried yellow bouquets. And they created a great yellow and gray candy table they crafted themselves. Come have a look!

Even though the temperature was in the teens during Megan and Doug's Illinois wedding, they were one of those couples who didn't care a bit about the weather. They were simply happy to be marrying each other. In fact, they were so easy going they didn't even blink an eye when photographer Jenelle from Jenelle Kappe Photography proposed they walk out into the snow to shoot portraits on such a cold day!
Despite the cold, their wedding was gorgeous, meaningful, and incredibly intimate. Doug's two daughters took place in the ceremony and held their own in the wedding party. And the officiant was
Jaime and Bennett were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Liberty House in Jesery City. The ceremony concluded moments before sunset and family and friends celebrated with the happy couple in a room that was lit by candles and surrounded by framed photographs of the bride and groom on every table.
Photographed by talented photographer Adena Stevens of Studio A Images, who snuck the couple away to Liberty State Park for a few gorgeous pre-ceremony photographs, Jaime and Bennett's beautiful wedding was full of smiles as well as a few happy tears. And Jaime even surprised her new husband
Anny and Mike wanted a chic, coastal wedding with modern touches. So their photographer Carrie of Carrie Wildes Photography recommended they hold the wedding at Isla Del Sol. And what a perfect suggestion it was!
The bridesmaid's dresses were in aqua and each maid wore a different style beige shoe while carrying a brightly colored bouquet. As for the groom and groomsmen, they were decked out in traditional tuxedos topped off with fun, black and white Adidas sneakers. Anny and Mike are huge Chicago Bears fans so they added little touches here and there to show their spirit. And the reception
A DIY country garden party is what Cassie and Ethan had planned for their sweet and special backyard nuptials. Cassie executed her vision by incorporating gorgeous fresh wildflowers (which they bought and arranged themselves), a vintage inspired floral fabric runner and photo booth backdrop, daisy embellished ribbon streamers for the archway where they exchanged their vows, and natural wood chairs and frame accents.
Photographed by Norton Photography, Cassie and Ethan's wedding day was warm, gorgeous, and filled with laughter and an incredible spirit of celebration.

After last week's sweet and fun letter from a bride who needed help styling her NY barn wedding, I've received a ton of other similar requests from couple's looking for help with their weddings as well. I love it! You know I'm more than happy to help. So today I have another bride looking for style advice.
Monica wrote in to say how much she loves the chevron pattern. I'm right there with you Monica! She also included the image of the cake below and said she'd really like to design her wedding around this cake. How fun is that?
So let's make it happen!
First thing's first, you need
Christian and Tori are an amazing couple! They first met at a work convention. And even though he lived in Virginia and she lived in Minnesota, they still started dating. Though they knew it would be hard to make it work...they did!
Photographed by Jessica Mae Photography at the Thomas Birkby House, Christian and Tori’s wedding day was everything they wanted it to be! Even though it was November, it was still 70 degrees and sunny and it was the absolute perfect day!

Heather and Mark were married at Ambient Plus Studios, a cool, loft photography studio in Downtown Atlanta. Photographed by Kelly Is Nice Photography, this was a fun "New York" themed wedding complete with food carts, a street artist, graffiti signs, and a floor to ceiling mural of the New York streets. But the beautifully posed images of Heather and Mark are what drew me in most. I just love the glamorous drama!

Timing is everything. However, in Caitlyn & Brett's case, perfect timing turned into something unexpected and untimely.
While on a weekend leave during an away call of duty, F-16 Air Force pilot Brett planned a romantic weekend getaway for him and his girlfriend Caitlyn where he proposed to her. Of course she said yes, but their blissful engagement was cut short as Brett was immediately called away for a year deployment in the Middle East.
With lots of help from her loving family, Caitlyn did a beautiful job planning while Bret was away. Mixing old with new, she wanted their wedding
Margaret and John were married on a beautiful autumn day at the Charles River Museum of Industry in Waltham, Massachusetts. And the bride and groom couldn't have been any more relaxed. From getting ready through to the evening, they just wanted to have fun and it definitely showed!
Their details were DIY and they complimented the unique space. John painted a door that they used as a back drop for the ceremony. And the groomsmen wore sweaters instead of traditional suit coats. But the most unique DIY was the "Time Card" escort cards where each guest's seat was given to them as they "punched
Ahhh...teal and yellow, the hues Amanda and Matt chose for their Rose Hill Manor wedding. Aren't they just the prettiest colors together? Not only do these shades look beautiful with each other, but combined with everything else, the colors of the venue, the fall foliage...they looked even more delightful.
I love how Amanda looks like a princess. From head to teal toe her look is absolutely perfect. And the simple white and yellow Calla Lilies are just the right choice of flower for the over-all feel. Also, the framed images attached to the end of each church pew is a super cute idea. But
