Inspiration for your wedding can come from many places. Last week we featured this shoot based on the fairy-tale Snow White. And a while back we featured this shoot which used Red Riding Hood for its inspiration. And in our archives there are tons more!
It’s no secret I’m huge a fan of stories used for wedding inspiration. So when this ethereal bridal shoot based on the movie Frozen came in, there was no doubt we’d feature it. Especially given the inspiration came from a story that promotes the power of love.
Photographed by Unlost Photography, the bride represents the protagonist character who is strong with regal and ethereal qualities as well. The Theia silver-blue lace gown is the perfect combination of delicate and different, just as the story’s character herself. And to top the look off, the exquisite flower crown offeres a dramatic pop of pink that complements the blue and adds to the bride’s royal appearance.

In addition to this gorgeous bridal inspiration, just think of all the amazing details you could come up with by using Frozen as the theme for your wedding. Icy textured table linens, silver Chivari chairs or maybe an organza chair cover to create a softer look. Maybe you could create escorts centered around or in an ice sculpture, florals in cascading shapes to represent icicles, and the cake…so many ideas come to mind for an elegant “Frozen” themed cake. The ideas are endless.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great inspiration and the floral crown is so beautiful!

Oops, sorry…I missed the link to the location as it was in a separate email. It’s listed above now. The location is Midway Ice Castles in Utah 🙂
It’s always an honor to have work featured. Thank you! Styling and shooting this was a dream come true and so much fun!
Oh my word! I just kept scrolling and scrolling trying to figure out if that jaw dropping backdrop was real, CGI or crazy props. 🙂 Its AMAZING!!! Wow! I come from Cape Town, and at the tip of Africa we certainly don’t see ANYTHING remotely like that. STUNNING! xox
