From the day Lauren and Michael met as teachers in the Bronx to the scavenger hunt proposal he pulled off in the rain, their love has always been filled with romance. So their wedding at BR Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen had to be as well.
Their ceremony took place at sunset on Oak Hill in the middle of the vineyards. After the ceremony, the couple was showered with lavender thrown from wrapped book pages as they recessed. Guests were then whisked away by bus to the cocktail hour while Vivian Chen Photography and the newlyweds spent time wandering through the vineyards for a breath-taking portrait session.
For their reception, guests were invited to find their seat with travel themed clues name cards. Lauren’s father sang a beautiful song to start off the evening. Later the bride joined him to sing “Cheek to Cheek”, (a play on their last name Cheak), in lieu of the traditional father-daughter dance. Dancing continued after festive s’mores roasted by the campfire. All in all it was truly a memorable day!
