I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, intimate weddings are a favorite of mine, especially ones with a neutral palette, organic in nature and lakeside like this one. Photographed by Kellie Rae Studio, Sarah and Mike held their intimate lakeside wedding at a private residence in Minnesota.
Sarah and Mike own a local company that makes awesome t-shirts and gear with their hometown name on it, DLH Clothing in Duluth, MN. They even included a few “DLH” items like beer cozies in their reception which was a cute and fun accent for them. Their wedding was lovely and small, and absolutely the best. And, a photographer’s dream, they were really interested in the photography portion of their wedding and so they set a ton of time away for portraits. Yes, a photographer’s dream indeed! Plus, they were also very well styled, though no one broke the bank with their attire. The groom’s jacket cost him a few dollars at Goodwill and fifty some odd dollars to have it altered. I love that, especially since he looked so handsome. All in all, everything about this wedding was so beautiful. From the simple flowers to the neutral bridesmaids dresses and the groomsmen in suspenders and bow-ties. Everything was detailed and easy, with decorations that were put together and styled with care and thoughtfulness. It was a beautiful wedding indeed!
Thanks for stopping by!
