Being college sweethearts, Marcus and Samantha were so excited to plan their wedding day. The Cousiac Manor was the perfect spot as they both love the water, magnolia trees, and rustic feel of the barn. Being a type A personality, Samantha planned every single detail, including having a spare bridesmaid dress…just in case.
Photographed by Karyn Johnson Photography, this southern preppy wedding was beautifully orchestrated. With the mint bridesmaid dresses, bouquets tied with pink bows, dark stained farm tables, blush table clothes, twine wrapped bouts, and the most elegant arbor adorned in white, blush, and purple flowers, every detail was perfect. The aisle of the ceremony was lined with colorful paper hearts that were not only beautiful, but also became hit with some of their youngest guests.
Marcus collects cologne, so Samantha picked out a new, special one for him to add to his collection and he picked out a new perfume for her. For their reception, they provided fun for all. Lawn games including corn hole and extreme Jenga were out on the lawn and a pavilion for dancing. They served their guests a southern meal of pulled pork and chicken bbq, mac-n-cheese, and sweet tea. And the night was spent dancing with the perfect sparkler send-off to finish the day.
Thanks for stopping by!
