To use bride Claire and groom Bob‘s words, their wedding was a “wet, whimsical, wonderful whirlwind.” Their day began with a whole lot of wind and rain. But if you know anything about Northern Michigan, you know that weather is unpredictable, and anything can happen (yes, even a surprise appearance of the sun!). And despite that soggy start, Claire and Bob’s big day is a one that will forever be remembered for its joy and love and beauty and fun. No amount of rain or wind was going to get in the way of these two and their family and friends celebrating their love and new union as husband and wife.
From early preparations in the company of dear friends to an intimate ceremony under the protective covering of a tent, the day began and progressed smoothly and beautifully. Just as the rain subsided, Dan Stewart Photography headed out with them for a few photos around the grounds.
From the photographer:
Those smiles. The laughs. It’s truly a beautiful thing to have been able to partake in the pure joy that Claire and Bob share. From photos and cocktails to a reception that rocked late into the night, their party was just getting underway. I teared up more times in one day than the previous five years combined. Claire’s vows and the loving words from her sister and father really got to me in the best way possible.” It’s not secret that Claire and Bob have found something very special with each other. We count it a privilege to have played a party in your special day. We wish the both of you the absolute best. Congrats!”
Thanks for stopping by!
